Let’s go tour……
- an Elephant Sanctuary and
- get up close with real African Lions.
Our tour departs at 08:30 and takes us to the North West Province, location of amongst others, an Elephant Sanctuary, nestled in a forest at the foothills of the Magaliesberg Mountains a few kilometers north of the Hartbeespoort dam where we are to experience an awesome site guided African elephant interaction program commencing at 10:00. Touching and walking with real African elephants is an absolute delight!
Ps. Don’t forget to ask for an “elephant kiss” while mingling with the elephants!
Following the program at the elephants we head for the Lions!
Meeting real African Lions up close is not an everyday occurrence yet this tour offers just such an opportunity. Depending on which lions are around, expect some close up’s….. while getting to know more about Africa’s giant predators.
Travelling time from the elephants to the lion venue is around 45 minutes, though a stretch of dirt road en route could keep us busy for a while. Let’s leave for the lions soon after the program at the elephants end to arrive on time for the 14:00 program at the lion venue.
Return to Pretoria:
We head home upon completion of the program at the lions to arrive at around 18:00/18:30
